Ramayana in pakistan: Muslim artists staged the Ramayana in Karachi city of Pakistan, for which the Pakistani drama group is being praised a lot. The Ramayana was staged at the Karachi Arts Council in the weekend. The ‘Mauj’ group of Karachi was staged using Artificial Intelligence (AI).

While the issue of safety of minority Hindus has often been arising in Pakistan, many kinds of speculations were being made about this Ramayana. Yoheshwar Karera, director of this Ramlila, said, “I never felt that people would dislike me by staging Ramayana or they will have to face some kind of threat.”

Yohshwar Karera said, ‘It is a wonderful visual experience for me to bring the Ramayana on the stage and show that the Pakistani society is considered more tolerant than as it is believed.’ He said, “The play has received good response and many critics have appreciated its production and acting acting.”

Pakistan’s film critic praises

Art and film critic Omair Alvi in Pakistan said that he was impressed by honesty of storytelling. He said that during the Ramayana staging, the arrangement of lights, music, colorful costumes of artists and emotional design added to the grandeur of this show. He said, ‘Ramayana is a story that connects with millions of people around the world.’

What did the artist who played Sita play the role?

Producer Rana Kazmi, who played the role of Mata Sita in this Ramayana staging of Karachi, said that she was thrilled with the idea of presenting this ancient story as a lively experience for the audience.
