On Tuesday (August 26, 2025) under Sharia Act in the world’s largest Muslim country, Indonesia, two boys were publicly sentenced to 76-76 whip. In fact, both these boys living in Indonesia were found guilty of having a homosexual relationship with each other by a Sharia court. After which both of them were sentenced to be punished publicly.
The Sharia court convicted both gay boys and sentenced them to kill 80 whip. For the last four months, both Muslim boys were detained in Indonesia. Keeping this in mind, the Sharia court reduced 4 out of his 80 whips and then both boys were sentenced to kill 76-76 whip.
Gay relationship illegal in Ache province
The incident occurred in the conservative Ache province of Indonesia, the only province in the Muslim-majority country Indonesia, where gay sex is considered illegal. According to the Sharia court order, both gay boys were killed in public in front of a packed crowd in a park in Banda, the capital of Acheh province, 76-76 whip for their crimes. At the same time, besides those two boys, the Sharia court had sentenced 8 other people to kill them with whip in different crimes.
Both boys were caught together in public toilet
Rosalina A. Jalil shared information about the incident. He said that both these boys were arrested in April this year. The two boys were caught together in a public toilet in the park in Banda.
The South China Morning Post quoted Rosalina in his report as saying that a man saw the two boys together in the public toilet and informed the police.
