Maldives India Relation: Maldives President Moizu, who came to power by giving the slogan of India Out, has understood that without his country of India, his country will not be able to survive. That is why Moizu has signed 13 MoUs with Maldives. When Pakistan comes to know about this deal, it will get a fire that a Muslim country has reached so close to India.
These include projects to increase boating services, expand sea connectivity and increase community livelihood with a grant of Rs 10 crore. These MoUs were signed on Sunday, which are for projects to be implemented under the Indian Grants Assistance Scheme- High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) Phase-3.
Sign on 13 deals between India and Maldives
The Maldives Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the signature ceremony was held in the Ministry of External Affairs, which is another milestone in a constant strong partnership between the two countries. The total grant amount of 13 projects launched under this phase is 10 crore Maldives (about 55 crore Indian rupees).
India High Commission gave information about the deal in Maldives
In Maldives, India’s High Commission posted on X, ‘India and Maldives signed 13 compromise memories to increase boating services in Maldives with a grant of Rs 10 crore under HICDP3 on 18 May. India is happy to partner with the Maldives government to increase maritime connectivity for the people of Maldives.
On behalf of the Maldives government, External Affairs Minister Abdullah Khalil and India’s High Commissioner G. Balasubramaniam signed the MoU in Maldives.
