Mrm on Sofiya Qureshi Remarks: The Muslim National Forum (MRM) has strongly condemned the derogatory and objectionable statement made by Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah against Colonel Sofia Qureshi, an officer of the Indian Army. Their comment has been described as a gross insult to the honor of women serving in the Indian Army, national unity and armed forces.
MRM national convenor Shahid Saeed described this remark as deliberately and planned to show the army’s courage and credibility inferior. He said, “At a time when the whole country is united against external threats and is saluting the courage of our soldiers through campaigns like ‘Operation Sindoor’, this shameful statement is not only unacceptable, but also extremely unfortunate.”
These proposals passed in Muslim National Forum meeting
In the context of this incident, an emergency meeting of the National Convenor Council of the Muslim National Forum was called, in which the following resolutions were passed unanimously:
1. Vijay Shah should be removed from the post of minister immediately,
2. Strict disciplinary and legal action should be initiated against them,
3. Colonel Sophia Qureshi and the Indian Army should be publicly apologized.
MRM said this big thing
MRM clarified that the attack on the character of the dedicated female officer in the service of the country is not only for him, but for the spirit of service, sacrifice and nation pride. This statement reflects the mentality that is dangerous for both democratic values and military morale.
Shahid Saeed said, “Indian soldiers, whether they are from any gender, religion or background, are the pride of our nation. Any attempt to discredit him is a direct attack on India. The people of the country will never accept such behavior of any such public person.”
The Muslim national platform stands strongly with Colonel Sophia Qureshi and every soldier who protects the sovereignty of the country. The MRM repeats its deep respect and commitment to the Indian Army and demands that those who insult their dignity be held accountable under the law.
