Up news: Today is the last Zuma of the Pak month of Ramadan. Prior to the last prayer prayers, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) had made an appeal to Muslims across the country. He had asked all Muslims to offer black bands and offer prayers. AIMPLB made this appeal for opposition to Waqf Amendment Bill 2024.
Meanwhile, a video has surfaced from Meerut. The police stopped a person going to offer prayers in Meerut and took off the black band tied in his hand. The person was going towards the mosque to offer prayers to Jumme. When the security personnel posted on the spot saw him coming, he saw the black band tied in his hand and immediately took the black band.

AIMPLB appealed to Muslims across the country
AIMPLB appealed to all the Muslims across the country that they should go to the right hand by tying a black band on the right hand while offering prayers in protest against the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. AIMPLB general secretary Maulana Mohammad Fazalur Rahim Mujdidi, while releasing a video on the X handle of the Waqf Board, requested all the Muslims to do so.
AIMPLB, while sharing a letter related to it on its social media platform X, wrote that, ‘It is the responsibility of every Muslim to oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill Bill. The board appeals to all Muslims to go to the mosque for the prayer of Jumatul Vida and tie a black band on the right hand and register a protest in a peaceful manner.

Administration alert on the prayers of Jumme in UP
In Uttar Pradesh today, the administration is on high alert mode regarding the prayers of Jumme. Heavy police forces have been deployed in many districts of the state including Sambhal, Meerut, Prayagraj, Kanpur. In the same Sambhal, Ballia and Meerut, the police has also issued separate advisory. During this time, Maulanas have also appealed to the people about the prayers of Jumme not to read the Namaz on the road.
