Food Jihad, The Kanwar Yatra is starting from the second week of July this year. Police-administrative officials are constantly preparing for the Kandar Yatra, while now Hindu organizations have increased the demand to stop food jihad. Mahant Swami Yashveer of Yoga Sadhana Ashram Sawan announced that the team of 5000 Hindu heroes will stop food in Kavad. In which no Muslim will be allowed to run a food shop on the Kanwar road.
Swami Yashveer told that the month of Sawan is starting from July 10. He told that every year millions of Shiva devotees take Ganga water from Har Ki Pauri of Haridwar and depart towards their destination via Muzaffarnagar. Extensive preparations have been started to prevent food jihad in the yatra. Our teams will visit the Kavad road and keep an eye on the shops where any Muslim person is running a food shop in the name of Hindu deities or by hiding his real name.
5000 Formation of army of Hindu heroes
Yashveer Maharaj told that people of Hindu society are being contacted by reaching villages and shops on Kavad Marg. So far, a team of 5000 people has been prepared in this campaign. This team will also keep an eye on Muzaffarnagar and surrounding districts from where Shiva devotees pass by taking Kavad.
Last time name plate dispute deepened
Last year too, during the Kandar Yatra, Swami Yashveer raised the demand to install a nameplate on food shops. This demand had earlier received the support of the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, but later the court stayed it. This time Yashveer Swami has already increased activity about food jihad.
On the other hand, the administration has not yet reacted to this attitude of Hindu organizations, yes, but the higher officials have given instructions to all the districts not to issue any new order at the local level. Last year, there was a lot of criticism by the Muzaffarnagar police to put a name plate, later the order had to be withdrawn.
