Thousands of buildings became frozen due to the earthquake in Mandalay. Due to this, more than 3000 people died. Many are also missing. More than 4000 people were injured due to the earthquake. The tremors of the earthquake in Myanmar were felt till Bangkok in Thailand.

The intensity of the earthquake on 13 April was 5.5 Richter scale. However, there was no major loss in it. The earthquake had responded to this by the National Center for Sismology (NCS).
