Myanmar army started bombing immediately after earthquake

According to the BBC report, a United Nations (UN) official said that Myanmar’s military jute started air strikes on Friday after an earthquake. James Rodehever, who led the Myanmar team at the United Nations Human Rights Office, said, “It seemed that he wanted to target people who were helping people trapped under the rubble.”

India sent help to Myanmar

India has sent relief materials, rescue teams and medical equipment from five military aircraft to help people affected by 7.7 magnitude earthquakes in Myanmar. In view of the devastation caused by the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand, India started its relief mission, which has been named Operation Brahma.

India has sent relief materials, medicines, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) 80-member discovery and rescue team and Army Field Hospital Myanmar through three C-130J and two C-17 globalmaster aircraft. According to a report by the News Agency Associated Press, the National Unity Government (NUG), who is leading the struggle against military rule in Myanmar, has announced a unilateral partial ceasefire to cooperate in relief work after the earthquake.
