Actually Devika was married to Yudhishthir before the period of exile, although she married Yudhishthir after Draupadi. Yudhishthir had declared himself unmarried in his first meeting with King Drupada, whereas he was already married to Devika.
The timing of their marriage is uncertain, with some sources stating that it took place after Yudhishthira’s coronation as crown prince, while others claim that it took place after the Kurukshetra War.

During the 14-year exile of the Pandavas, Devika stayed with Yudhishthir’s mother Kunti instead of accompanying them. Yudhishthir and Devika also had a son, whose name was Yaudheya. In the Mahabharata, Yudhishthir’s son attained heroic glory while fighting on behalf of the Pandavas.
