JDU’s dominance in Nalanda
JDU wave was clearly visible in Nalanda district, where the party won 6 seats. Along with Nalanda, BJP has won the Biharsharif seat.
Eighth: JDU’s Jitendra Kumar won. He defeated his nearest rival Ravi Ranjan Kumar (RJD) by a huge margin of 40,708 votes.
Biharsharif: Dr. Sunil Kumar of BJP defeated Omair Khan of Congress by 33,925 votes.
Rajgir (SC): JDU’s Kaushal Kishore defeated CPI(M)’s Vishwanath Choudhary by a record biggest margin of 55,428 votes.
Islampur: JDU’s Ruhail Ranjan defeated RJD’s Rakesh Kumar Roshan by 28,397 votes.
Hilsa: won – Krishna Murari Sharan (JDU) defeated RJD’s Atri Muni alias Shakti Singh Yadav by 15,353 votes.
Nalanda: won – Shravan Kumar (JDU) defeated Kaushalendra Kumar of Congress by 32,398 votes.
Harnaut: won – Hari Narayan Singh (JDU) defeated Arun Kumar of Congress by a huge margin of 48,335 votes.
