The process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter list is going on continuously in 12 states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, meanwhile Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and graduate MLC Ashutosh Sinha has made a big allegation. Ashutosh Sinha has alleged that his and his family’s names are not in the graduate MLC voter list.
Following the allegations of SP MLC Ashutosh Sinha, a delegation of Samajwadi Party also reached the District Election Office on Friday (5 December 2025), where Samajwadi Party leaders informed about the matter. He says that this happened completely as part of a conspiracy.
SP MLC lodged objection
The voter list was published on 3 December. While talking to ABP Live, MLC Ashutosh Sinha from Samajwadi Party made a big allegation and said that his name is missing from the graduate MLC voter list. Apart from this, his family name is also not in this list.
Demand for strict action against those responsible
He said that from this it can be understood how much negligence and lapses are taking place at the departmental level. A delegation of Samajwadi Party reached the District Election Office of Varanasi and informed the officer regarding this matter and demanded immediate strict action against those responsible.

MLC Ashutosh Sinha says that he has got a large number of people to fill and submit the form for the graduate MLC election and he also has the receipt for it, but the absence of his and his family’s name tells what is the situation at the departmental level.
