Earthquake in Afghanistan: After Pakistan, now the tremors of a strong earthquake have been felt in its neighboring country Afghanistan. The earthquake was so strong that people came out of their homes and stood in the open and breathed a sigh of relief. In this way, due to the sudden shaking of the earth, there has been an atmosphere of fear among the people.

According to the National Sismology Center (NCS), earthquake tremors were felt in Afghanistan at 18:45:50 pm on 28 May 2025. The center of this earthquake was 180 km deep under the ground. The intensity of this earthquake on the Richter scale was measured at 4.7 magnitude.

There was a strong earthquake in Afghanistan three days ago. The intensity of this earthquake on 25 May was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake came 135 km below the ground. However, there is no news of any injuries or damage due to this earthquake.

Earthquake in Afghanistan also occurred in the past

There was an earthquake in Afghanistan on 17, 18 and 19 May. Afghanistan is a sensitive area in terms of earthquake. In such a situation, there have been continuous earthquakes. The NCS said that the intensity of the earthquake that occurred here on Saturday i.e. Saturday was at a depth of 4.5 and the center is 120 km. Earlier on May 19, an earthquake of 4.2 magnitude, on May 18, an earthquake of 4.5 magnitude occurred. The earthquake was at a depth of 150 km.
