Operation Sindoor: Police have arrested Vishal Yadav, an Additional Division Clerk (UDC) of Naval Bhavan, for spying for Pakistan. Vishal used to send intelligence through social media. The Rajasthan Police’s intelligence branch arrested from New Delhi.
Inspector General of Police (CID-security) Vishnu Kant Gupta said that UDC Vishal Yadav was arrested on Wednesday 25 June under the ‘Government Gupta Baat Act 1923’. He is a resident of Punasika Rewari (Haryana). Gupta said that the ‘CID-Intelligence’ of the Rajasthan Police was constantly monitoring on the activities of Pakistani intelligence agencies.
Vishal used to send Pak information through social media
He said, “It was revealed that Vishal Yadav, working in the ‘Directorate of Dockyard’ in Navy Bhawan Delhi, was in constant touch with a woman handler of Pakistani intelligence agency through social media. This woman, whose pseudo -name is being described as Priya Sharma, was encouraging Vishal to remove confidential information of strategic importance from Naval Bhavan by luring money.
Addiction to playing online games
Gupta said, “The primary inquiry has revealed that Vishal Yadav was accustomed to playing the online game and started providing sensitive information to the women handler of Pakistan to meet his economic needs. He was receiving ‘USDT’ in his cryptocurrency trading account and directly in his bank accounts. ”
Many intelligence documents found from mobile chat
The chat and documents from the suspect’s mobile have revealed that Vishal had provided confidential information related to the Navy and other defense to the Pakistani woman even during the ‘Operation Sindoor’ campaign. Many intelligence agencies are jointly interrogating Vishal at the Central Inquiry Center in Jaipur. It is also being ascertained what he has sent to Pakistan so far.
