In Pakistan, supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan are protesting strongly against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. Amidst the political turmoil in Pakistan, National President of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has opened a front against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and former PM Imran Khan. Nawaz Sharif said that Imran Khan was not the only criminal, there were bigger criminals than him who brought him here.

Actually, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif gave this statement on Wednesday (November 26, 2025). Nawaz Sharif was addressing the media among his supporters along with the Chief Minister of Punjab province and his daughter Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday. During this, Nawaz Sharif fiercely targeted the country’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) chief Nawaz Sharif said, ‘I understand that Imran Khan was not the only culprit. Those who brought him here were bigger criminals than him and they should also be held fully accountable for this. He said, ‘All his statements are coming in front of the people. He used to call everyone thieves and dacoits, used to create fights and riots, and used to catch people’s secrets. They used to say burn, kill, catch but now the whole truth has come in front of the community.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province Maryam Nawaz also targeted PTI and the rule of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that the four-year rule of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be remembered as the worst rule in the country. He said, ‘He used to say that now there is no politics of performance in the country, there is only politics of rhetoric. So the politics of rhetoric has been defeated this time and the way politics was tainted in those four years, the way politics was made into a personal enmity, it had deep impacts on our politics, on our society and it will take a lot of time for our society to come out of this. Maryam Nawaz said, ‘If today they complain about what they themselves have done during their four years in power, then it has no importance and neither is anyone going to listen to them.’
