Actress Nayanthara and her director husband Vignesh Shivan recently got a chance to spend time with their ‘favorite couple’ R Madhavan and his wife Sarita Birje. Nayanthara shared the memory of this meeting on her Instagram stories and posted a lovely photo of both the couples.

On-screen pairing of Nayanthara and Madhavan in the film ‘Test’
Recently, Nayanthara and Madhavan shared the screen in the 2025 Tamil sports-psychological thriller Test. Both of them played the role of husband and wife in this film. The story of the film revolves around the lives and struggles of three people – a scientist saving his hydro-fuel project, his wife’s desire to become a mother and a famous cricketer’s illustrious retirement. This story seems to revolve around these three.
Nayanthara’s comeback in upcoming projects
After the test, Nayanthara will be seen in Yash’s period gangster film ‘Toxic’. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. This film is going to be released in theaters on 19 March 2026 along with Ugadi.
