Benefits of Neem: As soon as the name of Neem is taken, the astringent leaves come in front of the eyes. However, today we are telling about a neem leaves, which not only enhances the taste of food with its smell but also keeps healthy due to being full of medicinal properties. In Ayurveda, sweet neem leaf or curry leaf is said to be the destroyer of many diseases.

Where is the curry leaf found?

Since the old times it has been used to apply to Kadhi, perhaps that is why it is also called from curry leaves or kadhi leaf. Its scientific name is Muraya Koeniji. It is usually found in India and Sri Lanka. We get more in the south states and perhaps this is the reason that this beauty of almost every dish there enhances. The height of this plant is 2 to 4 meters. With the help of seeds or small plants, you can apply it in the garden of the house or in the pot.

It is also mentioned in our ancient medical system. Ayurvedacharya says that in today’s time, problems like digestion, insomnia have become common due to diabetes, blood pressure and uncontrolled routine. However, regular intake of curry leaves provides relief from these problems.

Curry leaves are a boon for health

Dr. Pramod Anand Tiwari of ‘Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital of Babe’ in Punjab, while throwing light on the medicinal properties of Curry Leaf, gave detailed information. He said, “Curry leaves contain nutrients like vitamin A, B, C, E with magnesium, calcium and iron. According to Ayurveda, curry leaves can prove to be a boon for health. It is also able to remove problems like skin, digestive problems like constipation, Vata as well as diabetes, blood pressure.”

He further said, “Curry leaves are very beneficial for the eyes. If it is chewed on an empty stomach, many problems related to the eyes are overcome. It relaxes the muscles of the eyes, so that the eyes do not feel tired.” It is helpful in the digestive process and removes problems like Vata, constipation. The sweet neem leaf increases the secretion of digestive juices, which makes it easier to digest food.

The fiber present in it helps to keep the stomach clean and removes constipation. Ayurvedacharya said that the curry leaf of infection problems is also enemy. He said, “Sweet neem has anti-bacterial properties, which can prevent infection by consuming.”
