NEET PG 2025: NBEMS canceled results of 22 candidates, results of old sessions also declared invalid


The National Board of Medical Examination (NBEMS) has recently decided to cancel the results of 22 candidates who appeared in the NEET-PG 2025 examination. The board has issued an official notification in this regard. It has been made clear that out of these 22 candidates, 13 candidates are from the 2025 session.

But the matter is not limited only to the candidates of 2025 session. NBEMS also said in its notification that the results of some candidates for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 have also been declared invalid. Its objective is to maintain fairness of examination and honesty in the educational process.

Which session’s candidates are included?

The 22 candidates whose NEET-PG results have been canceled include 13 candidates from the 2025 session. Apart from this, the results of 3 candidates in 2024, 4 candidates in 2023, and one candidate each in 2022 and 2021 have been cancelled.

NBEMS said that this decision was taken after the investigation conducted by the Examination Ethics Committee of the Board. During investigation, it was found that many candidates violated rules and indulged in unfair practices in the examination.

NBEMS has clarified that the score cards and results of the candidates whose results have been canceled are no longer valid. This means that any kind of official or educational use of these results is now prohibited.

Using these canceled results for any purpose, such as admission to a postgraduate course, application for a job or registration in higher education, will be considered illegal. The board has also warned that if any candidate uses these canceled results, the entire responsibility for the same will be on the candidate alone. NBEMS will not take any responsibility in this regard.

Results of old sessions also invalid

Along with NEET-PG 2025, the board made it clear that the results of some candidates for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 have also now been declared invalid. The reason behind this is a detailed investigation into the incidents of misconduct that took place during those years. NBEMS also informed that this decision has been taken to maintain transparency and fairness of the examination process. The objective of the Board is to ensure that all candidates get equal opportunity and fair competition.
