The wait for millions of medical students across the country is now over. NEET UG is good news for candidates who have passed 2025. NEET UG counseling registration has started from 21 July 2025. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started counseling process from 21 July 2025 today. If you have passed the NEET UG exam and want to take admission in MBBS, BDS or B.Sc Nursing, then now you can register by visiting MCC’s official website mxc.nic.in. NEET UG 2025 Counseling required Date
1. Start of registration – The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started registration for counseling of round-1 from July 21, 2025.
2. Last date of registration – Candidates can register online by going to mxnic.in by 28 July 2025.
3. Start of filling college choice – Candidates can start filling the medical/dental colleges and courses of your choice from July 22, 2025 as an online option.
4. Last date to lock choice – On 28 July 2025, there will be an option to lock the choice from 4 pm to 11:55 pm.
5. seat allotment process – The MCC will complete the process of allotting the seat based on the option filled through the candidate on 29 and 30 July.
6. seat allotment result – On 31 July 2025, the seat allotment result of Round-1 will be released on mcc.nic.in.
7. Reporting in college – Those who have been allotted to college, they can complete the process of document verification and admission from 1 August to 6 August 2025.
For whom is counseling?
This counseling is for all students who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and want to take admission in MBBS, BDS or B.Sc Nursing course in government or central medical colleges of the country. This includes 100 percent seats of institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC, JMI and all central and deemed university seats, 15 percent of All India Kota (AIQ) government medical seats, AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC, JMI seats.
How many rounds will be there?
This time NEET UG counseling will be done in four rounds, in which round 1 will be the first chance and the most options are available in it. Round 2 students who did not join or want to upgrade can join it. Round 3 i.e. MOP-up round gives a chance to fill the remaining seats in it. Stray vacancy round comes in the last. The seats left in this are available to those candidates who could not get the seat in any round first. At the same time, every round has the same process, registration, fees, filling the choice of college and course, locking choice, seat allotment, college reporting and document verification.
Essential documents
During counseling and college reporting, the candidate will have to show and upload these documents-
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET Score Card
- 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate
- Birth certificate
- 8 photos of passport size (what was in NEET form)
- Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license or passport
- Provisional seat allotment letter
- Cast certificate
- Medical fitness certificate
How to register?
1. first visit the website moc.nic.in.
2. Open UG Medical Counseling section.
3. Click on the New Registration button there.
4. Now fill your NEET UG 2025 roll number, application number, mobile number etc.
5. Then pay registration fees and security fees online, you can make this with debit card, net banking etc.
6. After the registration is completed, fill the choice of college and course.
7. Lock the choice on the fixed date and submit it.
8. Registration fee is Rs 1,000 thousand for general / EWS (AIQ), and the refundable security fee is Rs 10,000 thousand. Along with this, SC, ST, OBC and PWD registration fees are Rs 500 and the refundable security fee is 5000 thousand rupees. At the same time, the registration fee for Deemed University is 5000 thousand rupees and the refundable security fee is 2,00,000.
