Big news has come out for the students who have passed NEET exam. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the revised schedule of NEET UG 2025 Round-2 counseling. Now candidates interested in admission in medical and dental colleges will be able to register online from September 4 to September 9. The process of registration and fee payment will be on the official website of MCC mxc.nic.in.
According to the new program, seat matrix will be verified by all the institutions participating on September 3. After this, from September 5 to 9, candidates will be able to choose colleges and courses of their choice. This process is called choice filling and locking. It will be necessary for every candidate to lock your choice by 9 September.
Who will get a chance?
In this round, all those students who did not have any seat allotted in the first round. Also, those candidates can also participate in this who got a seat in the first round but they are not satisfied with it and want a better option. In this way, Round-2 gives a new opportunity to students to get admission in their favorite college or course.
When will the result come?
The MCC has clarified that the processing of the round-2 seat allotment will be held on 10 and 11 September. After this, the result of Round-2 will be declared on September 12. Students who will have a seat allot will have to report to their allotted institute from 13 to 19 September. During this time, verification of documents and the formalities of admission will have to be completed.
Counseling of state quota is also fixed
MCC has also released the counseling dates of state quota. According to this, counseling under the state quota will be from 10 to 19 September 2025. That is, during this time, students will get a chance for medical seats at the state level too.

MCC has declared the dates of not only round-2, but also the rounds of further rounds. Round-3 registration will be between 24 to 29 September. The result of Round-3 will be released on 3 October. This will be followed by the Strey Vacancy Round, which will start from October 14 and the result will be declared on 18 October.
