Negligence crossed the limits: In Noida, where the engineer died, the truck driver had a narrow escape, even then the drain was not repaired.

26-year-old software engineer Yuvraj Mehta died after falling into a drain in Sector 150 of Noida last Friday (January 16) evening. Due to dense fog, he could not see the way and Yuvraj’s car fell into the drain. Due to timely help not arriving, the administration was accused of negligence. There was neither any signboard nor any alert written there. If help had reached Yuvraj in time, he would have been safe with his parents today.

The negligence of the administration can also be gauged from the fact that a few days before the engineer’s accident, a truck had also met with an accident at the same place. This drain was broken due to a truck collision late on 31st December. If the drain had been repaired at that time, this fatal accident could have been avoided.

Yuvraj’s car was taken out on the fourth day of the accident

On Tuesday, January 20, the fourth day after the accident, Yuvraj Mehta’s car was taken out from the drain. Efforts to find the vehicle were going on for a long time, but success was achieved on Tuesday. A video of the engineer’s car being pulled out has also surfaced, in which it was seen that the sunroof of the vehicle was open. The car was wrapped in bushes and its bonnet was also open.

Let us tell you, Yuvraj kept struggling for two hours to save himself. During that time he came on the roof of the car and kept appealing to the people for help. He kept shouting help-help and showing his location with the torch of his phone but help did not reach him on time. For this reason the sunroof of Yuvraj’s car must have been open.

Negligence crossed the limits: In Noida, where the engineer died, the truck driver had a narrow escape, even then the drain was not repaired.

Truck accident happened due to fog

This clearly shows that there has been negligence somewhere on the part of the concerned officials of Noida Authority, because even on the day of the truck accident, the police is seen in the video. The truck accident also happened due to fog. Fog is clearly visible in the video, but there is no signboard or barricading.

Asked for money to repair the drain from the truck driver himself

According to media reports, the name of the truck driver is said to be Gurvinder Singh. He says that he was lucky that he survived, but how many more people like Yuvraj will have to die due to the negligence of the administration? Recalling the day of the accident, Gurvinder Singh said that there was neither any signboard nor barricades installed there. He thought that there would be a road ahead, but due to the drain, the front wheels of his truck got stuck in it. The truck got stuck at 12 o’clock in the night and remained stuck there for the next four hours.

The truck driver told that 2-3 policemen had come there but no help was provided. The next day in the afternoon, the Noida Authority team came and instead started asking Gurvinder Singh that who would pay for the repair of this broken drain?
