Kashmir terror attack: Folk singer Neha Singh Rathore has increased the difficulties in the matter of making a video about the terror attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In the FIR lodged against him in UP capital Lucknow, 11 serious sections have been imposed.

Section 152 of the Code of India (BNS) has been imposed against the folk singer. Which means to endanger the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India. If the allegations against him are proved, Neha Singh Rathore can be punished for life imprisonment.

We talked to Advocate Shashank Dev about this. He said that Section-152 is the most serious in the FIR lodged against Neha Singh Rathore. However, it is not a stream of treason, but it is similar to that. It can have maximum life imprisonment or a sentence of 7 years. Apart from this, the rest of the sections that have been imposed can be sentenced to 3-5 years.

He said that earlier the 124-A stream, spreading hatred against the government and provoking people was considered treason, but now the new law that the government has enacted, the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the country has been added. The punishment has been kept the same in both.

Modi government was strongly criticized for Pahalgam attack
Neha Singh Rathore had strongly criticized the Modi government for the Pahalgam terror attack by posting a video on X. He had said that the Pahalgam attack took place due to the government’s lapse. He had alleged that the BJP would use this issue to get votes in the Bihar assembly elections.

Based on this video of Neha Singh Rathore, a person named Abhay Singh lodged an FIR in Lucknow. A total of 11 sections of BNS have been imposed in it.
