Amidst the increasing demand for tariffs and ban on oil purchases for Russia between the US and NATO countries, China has made it clear that it is not involved in the conspiracy of any war nor participates in it.
US President Donald Trump recently appealed to NATO countries to stop purchasing oil from Russia and impose strict economic restrictions on it. Trump said that some NATO countries are still weakening the alliance status by purchasing oil from Russia. He warned that the US would not impose new restrictions on Russia on a large scale until NATO countries unite and take such steps.

Meanwhile, during the visit to Slovenia, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi made a statement that the war is not a solution to any problem and the restrictions only make the circumstances more complicated. Wang Yi said that China neither conspires the war nor joins it, which is being considered a direct message to America.
Pressure on India and China too
America has already imposed heavy tariffs on India to buy oil from Russia, while China has not been directly banned. The Trump administration wants the G7 (G7) countries to increase the pressure on India and China, because both these countries are Russia’s big energy buyers.

At the meeting of G-7 Finance Ministers, US Finance Minister Scott Besant said that Putin’s ‘war machine’ cannot be weakened until the income from Russia’s oil is completely stopped. He met all the countries and appealed to take concrete steps in this direction.
Wang Yi’s trend on America-China relations
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently made it clear in a conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that both countries should not wander from their way and maintain cooperation. China indicated that it does not want to follow the path of confrontation in any situation.
