Nepal has announced a 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2026. Rohit Paudel will captain the Nepal team in the World Cup, while this team also includes Sandeep Lamichhane, who has proved his mettle in the Indian Premier League. There are 11 teams that have declared squads for the Nepal T20 World Cup.
23 year old Rohit Paudel has made an important contribution in taking Nepal cricket forward in the cricket world. He not only bats well, but has also proved to be a good captain. Deependra Singh will be the vice-captain of the Nepal team in the Ari World Cup.
Before Nepal, a total of 10 teams have announced the World Cup squad. Australia and Sri Lanka have so far announced preliminary squads, in which changes are possible in the coming days. The team’s star leg-spin bowler Sandeep Lamichhane has been a part of the Delhi Capitals squad in the Indian Premier League.

Nepal last participated in the T20 World Cup in 2024, unfortunately Nepal could not register a single win in 4 matches in the last World Cup. Nepal team was eliminated in the group stage itself.
