Power in Nepal has changed. Prime Minister KP Sharma has resigned Oli and has escaped leaving Nepal after saving his life. All this has happened when a mob of millions of youth in Nepal has beaten the country’s Finance Minister, the Prime Minister-President’s house, ministers’ bungalows and political parties of political parties, snatched dangerous weapons from the army and police and there is an atmosphere of chaos in the whole of Kathmandu.

The reason for all this is Nepal’s social media ban, against which Jenji blew the rebellion, but what is the truth that is visible from the front. Or is there any other story at the root of this movement, which is not led by Jenji but in the hands of those two Millennials, at a behest of which millions of Jenji came out on the road regardless of police and army bullets and overturned the government. After all, what is the whole story of Nepal’s movement, we will tell in detail.

4 September 2025 was the date when KP Sharma Oli’s government of Nepal banned a total of 26 social media sites in the entire Nepal. Banned sites also contained some popular sites such as YouTube, Facebook, X, Insta and WhatsApp, which are involved in people’s daily needs, but the government’s insistence completely shut down these social media sites. Because of this, millions of youth became angry and tried to capitalize on their anger, two people who were neither young nor elderly. These were the people of the age group who are called Millennial in this era of social media. Millennial means whose birth is between 1981 and 1996, while this entire movement was run by Jenji, whose birth is considered between 1997 and 2012.

So it happened that as soon as Nepal’s KP Sharma Oli Sarkar banned social media sites on 4 September, a 36 -year -old boy got a chance to instigate the youth for the movement. His name is Sudan Gurung. He was also opening a front against the Oli government before this social media site ban. In the Oli government, the corruption, familyism and some special people were raising their voice against the growing property, but they were not able to find the right place nor were people gathering with Sudan. When social media sites were not banned in Nepal on 27 August 2025, Sudan wrote a post. He wrote in it-

‘If we change ourselves, the country will change itself.’

Then there was no significant response to this post of Sudan in Nepal. Meanwhile, when social media was banned on 4 September, another Millennial accessed social media using VPN on 7 September and wrote-

‘Tomorrow’s rally is Jenji’s rally. No party, leader, workers or MPs should attend this rally for their personal benefits. I cannot go because of age, but I have full support.

Balen Shah was about to write this post. Balen Shah is the mayor of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and a famous rapper from Nepal. His fans are in millions. His age is not Jenji. If he is 35 years old, he did not go into the movement himself, but his post decided the condition and direction of the movement. His post was shared more than 20 thousand, about four lakh people reacted on that post and more than 40 thousand people commented on it, but this time the matter went beyond like, shares, comments on social media and millions of youth agreed to hit the road to Kathmandu for the movement.

In this fire, Ghee was done by Sudan Gurung’s Instagram post, who wrote on the morning of 8th-

‘Today is the day when the youth of Nepal will rise and say that much has happened now. This is our time, this is our fight, and it starts with us, we start with youth.

On social media, millions of Nepali youths raging from the ban were first instigated by Balen Shah’s post and then the Instagram Post of the remaining Kasar Sudan Gurung, after which millions of youth came out on the road to Kathmandu, captured Rashtrapati Bhavan, stoned the Prime Minister’s residence and made such an uproar in the entire city that the army and the police had to firing, in which the army and police had to firing. This movement became even more violent on the morning of 9 September. The youth set fire to the entire city, in which the Prime Minister’s residence, the President’s residence, the Parliament of Nepal, the bungalows of the ministers, the offices of political parties were left and everyone was burnt to death.

When the Army Chief of Nepal also raised his hands in front of the youth’s movement and said that KP Sharma Oli resigned from the post of Prime Minister under compulsion, after which Nepal’s army took him under his circle to keep him safe. It is feared that Oli may leave the country, but the question is still what is next. Will the anger of the youth get cold after Oli’s resignation. After all, who is now, who will lead Nepal? Will Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah be given the command of Nepal, who is shouting on the streets of Kathmandu? Or the last result of this movement still remains in Nepal. After all, what will be the future of Nepal, to know and understand it will have to wait a little?
