In Nepal, the fire of rebellion has been burnt in the public about the ban on social media platforms. People are taking to the streets and protesting against the government. Meanwhile, the Nepal army has appealed to the protesters to have peace and harmony in the country.
The army said that even in difficult circumstances, Nepal’s freedom, sovereignty, geographical integrity, independence, national unity and Nepali have been committed to protect the lives and property of the people. The army is always dedicated to the welfare and security of Nepal and Nepali people.
‘Protecting the properties of the country’ responsibility ‘
The Nepali army further said, ‘Nepal’s army is committed to protect the lives and property of Nepal and Nepali people keeping in mind the current changing circumstances. It is the common responsibility of all of us to protect the historical, cultural, archaeological and national properties of the country in this difficult situation.
While urging the public, he said, “Therefore, the Nepal Army requests all the youth personnel and countrymen to maintain social harmony and national unity, so that the present situation can be prevented from becoming more complicated.”
Remove the problem through conversation
The Nepali Army said, “Since the resignation of the Prime Minister (KP Sharma Oli) has been accepted by the President, we appeal to all to be restrained and not to let life and property be harmed in this difficult situation.” He also appealed to all the concerned parties to find a peaceful solution to the problem through political talks.
The joint statement said, “Peaceful solution through dialogue is the only way to restore the system and stability.” Those who signed the statement include Nepali Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel, Chief Secretary of Nepal Government E. Narayan Aryal, Home Secretary Gokarna Davadi, Armed Police Force (APF) chief Raju Aryal, Inspector General of Police Chandra Kubera Khapung and National Investigation Department Chief Hutraj Thapa.
Protesters attacked Parliament House
Please tell that Prime Minister of Nepal K.K. P. Sharma Oli resigned on Tuesday (September 09, 2025) in view of the huge anti -government protests in the country. At the same time, the protesters attacked the private residence of several top political leaders including President Ramchandra Paudel and vandalized the Parliament House.
The protests under the leadership of the students have reflected the increasing resentment of the common people for many reasons against the political class, including many issues like ban on social media and alleged corruption. The protesters gathered at Kathmandu and other places despite the huge deployment of curfew and security forces.
