Pakistan Cricket Board: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to increase the salary of the players, but this salary is only being increased by the players of the women’s cricket team. At the same time, there has been no update about the salary of the Mains cricket team. The salary of Pakistan women’s cricket team has increased by 50 percent. The players of the women’s cricket team will start getting this new salary from 1 July 2025 and this contract will continue till 30 June 2026.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s big decision
The Pakistan Cricket Board has given Central Contract to 20 players in the category from A to E -Women’s A to E. The women’s cricket team’s A category was already involved in captain Fatima Sana, wicketkeeper batsman Muniba Ali and all -rounder Sidra Amin, but now the left -arm spin bowler Sadia Iqbal has also been included in this category.
- Category A: Fatima Sana, Muniba Ali, Sidra Amin and Sadia Iqbal.
- Category B: Alia Riyaz, Diana Baig and Nashra Sandhu.
- Category C: Ramin Shamim.
- Category D: Gul Feroza, Sidara Nawaz, Syeda Aarub Shah, Najiha Alvi, Natalia Parvez, Omima Sohail, Wahida Akhtar, Sadaf Shamas, Tuba Hasan and Um-e-Hani.
- Category E: Shawal Zulfikar and Iman Fatima.
India-Pakistan match
The India-Pakistan match remains the subject of discussion in the Asia Cup 2025. The match between the two teams will be played on 14 September. Many people are opposing playing matches with Pakistan. At the same time, many people want this match to be done. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet said anything about this match. It has also been mentioned in Parliament that the match should not be played with Pakistan. But if Team India withdraws from playing this match, then the country may suffer a big loss in ICC rankings, due to which Pakistan can qualify instead of India in Olympics.
