He said that after the changed system with the help of the Central Government, now Bihar is progressing rapidly and in the coming times the state will touch new heights of development.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Purnia and Katihar on Thursday (March 12) during the Samriddhi Yatra, where he addressed the people. During this, information about the plans for the next 5 years regarding the development of the state was given.

It was told that the government has prepared a detailed roadmap to accelerate development in every area of ​​the state, so that education, health and basic facilities can be further strengthened.

Model schools and degree colleges will open in every block

There are plans for major changes in the field of education. Preparations are being made to open model schools and degree colleges in every block of the state. With this, students from rural areas will get the opportunity of better education in their own area and there will be less need to go far for higher education.

Hospitals will be made special hospitals

To strengthen health services, a plan has been made to develop block level hospitals as special hospitals. Along with this, work will also be done to convert rural roads into two lanes, which will improve the connectivity of villages and provide convenience to people in transportation.

A plan to build a modern sports city in the capital Patna has also been put forward. Through this, better training and facilities will be provided to the players. Besides, the scheme of providing government jobs to sportspersons is also included in the government’s agenda, so that sports can be promoted.

During the program it was also told that the state is getting full support from the Central Government. Special schemes will also be worked on for Makhana farmers so that their income can be increased.

Minister Leshi Singh became emotional in the meeting

During the meeting held in Katihar, Minister Leshi Singh became emotional while talking about her political journey and cried on the stage itself. At the end of the program, the Chief Minister patted the back of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary present on the stage and expressed confidence that the development work in the state will continue like this.
