PM Modi in Brics Summit 2025: At the 17th BRICS conference held at Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Prime Minister Narendra Modi kept India’s vision strongly. He said that when India will be chaired by BRICS, this organization will move forward with a new idea of ’strength for cooperation and stability’. PM Modi said, Global South will get priority under India’s BRICS. He said, BRICS will mean flexibility and innovation for cooperation and stability. We will pursue this platform with humanity earlier feelings and public-focused approaches.
India will give a new identity to BRICS
Prime Minister Modi said that under the chairmanship of India, BRICS will get a new objective, which will promote cooperation, strength and stability in the world. This will not be only a platform, but will be the center of expectations of all developing countries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that while some countries measure climate change only in data, India has won it in its rites. Climate Justice is not an alternative to India but a moral duty, because the health of the earth and human health are deeply connected to each other. He emphasized that the confidence in the developed countries should be the same in developing countries. Referring to Kovid epidemic, he said that this crisis has taught us that neither viruses bring visas nor solutions are selected by looking at passports.
The voice of small countries will be strong
Modi insisted that the time has come to listen to small and developing countries in institutions around the world. He said that India supports the fact that everyone should get equal rights and participation. New technology such as artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) was also discussed in the meeting. Prime Minister Modi said that this technology should not be limited only to rich countries, but everyone should get its benefits.
Modi’s strict message on terrorism
The Prime Minister said that terrorism is the biggest threat to the whole of humanity today. Referring to the attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir this year, he said, “It was an attack not only on India but the whole world.” He said that strict action should be taken against the countries which give money, training or shelter to terrorism. There should be no double attitude on this issue. India thanks BRICS for the fact that it strongly condemned the Pahalgam attack.
Solidarity is necessary
Prime Minister Modi appealed to all countries not to keep tolerance against terrorism at all. He said that this fight is not only of India, but it is the responsibility of the whole world.
