The framework for an interim trade agreement has been agreed upon between our two great countries. He said that I thank President Trump for his personal commitment to the strong ties between our countries.
How will ‘Make in India’ be strengthened?
PM Modi said that this framework reflects the increasing depth, trust and dynamism of our partnership. It strengthens ‘Make in India’ by opening new opportunities for India’s hardworking farmers, entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, startup innovators, fishermen and others. He further said that this will create employment opportunities on a large scale for women and youth.

PM Modi said that India and the United States are committed to promoting innovation and this framework will further strengthen the investment and technology partnership between us. He further said that this framework will also strengthen flexible and reliable supply chains and contribute to global development. PM Modi said that while moving towards building a developed India, we are committed to building future-oriented global partnerships that empower our people and contribute to shared prosperity.
India will buy goods worth 500 billion dollars from America
In the joint statement of India and America, it has been said that India will buy goods worth 500 billion dollars from America in the next 5 years. This includes energy products, aircraft and their parts, precious metals, technology products and coking coal. Apart from this, both the countries will also increase the trade of graphics processing units and other tech products used in data centers. It has also been agreed to make clear rules in digital business.
