That is, a full substitute cannot be replaced in place of the injured player.
A similar situation currently remains in India vs England Manchester Test, where the Indian team will suffer a huge loss due to the injury of Rishabh Pant. Pant had scored 37 runs before the injury in this match and was moving towards the big score.
