Now a new and important rule has come out from the Indian Army for such youth, which is very important for every Agniveer to know. This rule is directly related to their personal life, because it gives clear guidelines regarding marriage.
Regarding the process of permanentization of Agniveers, the Indian Army has decided that those Agniveers who want to become permanent soldiers cannot marry until they get permanent appointment in the army. If an Agniveer marries during this process or before becoming a permanent soldier, he will be considered ineligible for permanent service. Such Agniveer will neither be able to apply to become a permanent soldier nor be a part of the selection process.
As soon as this new rule came to light, many questions started being raised among the firefighters. The biggest question is when can they get married, so that their dream of becoming a permanent soldier can be fulfilled and their personal life can also move forward. The position on this has also been clarified by the Army.
Will have to stay away from marriage
According to the new rule, Agniveer can marry only when he is appointed as a permanent soldier in the Indian Army. That means, until the final result of permanent appointment comes, they will have to stay away from marriage. However, you won’t have to wait too long. After completing four years of service, Agniveer will have to give about 4 to 6 months more time, in which the entire process of permanentization will be completed.
When did it start?
Agniveer Yojana was started in the year 2022. The four years of service of the first batch recruited under this scheme is now about to be completed. The service period of Agniveer of 2022 batch will end around June and July 2026. It is estimated that about 20 thousand youth were included in the first batch, who are now going to be retired.
Out of all these fire warriors, about 25 percent will get a chance to become permanent soldiers in the Indian Army. Selection for this will be done on the basis of physical efficiency, written examination and other standards. The selection process will be completely based on merit and performance. Those Agniveer who are successful in this process will be given permanent appointment in the army.
However, the process of becoming a permanent soldier is not completed on the same day as soon as the service ends. For this, firefighters will have to apply and then the entire selection process will begin. This process can usually last for 4 to 6 months. Meanwhile, the Army has made it clear that no Agniveer should get married until the final list is released.
When will you get the discount?
According to reports, the Army says that if any Agniveer marries in the meantime, he will be thrown out of the race to become a permanent soldier. The application of such a candidate will not be accepted, no matter how good his qualifications are. Therefore, fire warriors have been advised to understand and follow this rule seriously.
At the same time, those Agniveer who are selected as permanent soldiers will have complete freedom to marry after getting appointment. Once they join the army permanently, they can marry anytime as per their convenience and wish. This restriction will not apply to them at that time.
