An important update has come out for the candidates preparing for government jobs in various departments of Delhi Government. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced a new examination schedule for the recruitment examinations to be held in the year 2026, under which the selection process will be completed for different posts.
Exam calendar released, selection process will continue for several months
According to the latest notice issued by DSSSB, the recruitment examinations of the board will be conducted from 16 February 2026 to 14 May 2026. During this period, examinations will be conducted to fill vacant posts in various departments under Delhi Government.
All examinations will be online, conducted in CBT mode
The board has also clarified that all the examinations will be conducted completely in computer based test i.e. CBT mode. At the examination centres, candidates will have to solve questions through online medium, which will make the process more transparent and time bound.
There will be examination for many important posts on the first day
The first phase of examinations will be conducted on 16 February 2026. On this day, there will be examination for posts like Dispatch Rider-cum-Process Server, Driver, Assistant Teacher Primary, PGT, TGT, Senior Scientific Assistant Microbiology and MTS. These recruitments are related to Delhi High Court, Directorate of Education, NDMC and Drugs Control Department.

Still waiting for age relaxation
However, no clear information has been given regarding age relaxation in the new exam notification. Earlier, Education Minister Ashish Sood had said that until a system is made regarding age relaxation, a new datesheet will not be issued. Due to non-conduct of DSSSB examinations for a long time during the previous governments, many candidates have crossed the age limit.
Separate notice expected, candidates should be alert
It is expected that the board may soon issue a separate notification regarding age relaxation. In such a situation, candidates are being advised to regularly check the updates on the official website of DSSSB and keep an eye on the new instructions along with the preparation for the exam.
