This time the admission process in Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has started in a different and special way. Admission for the academic session 2025-26 started on Sunday, June 1 and by 6 pm on the first day, 4468 students registered themselves. This time the process of registration has been implemented before admission in SOL, which will continue till June 10.
Till now, admission and registration in SOL used to be done simultaneously, but it has been separated from this year. According to SOL Director Professor Payal Mago, now the first students will have to fill their basic information by filling the online form, so that they will be registered for SOL and they will get prospectus from the university. With this, students will be able to get necessary information in time and they will be able to choose the course thoughtfully.
Admission process will be held in four stages
This time the admission process is divided into four steps, which will give students one by one to do all the information and work.
Registration – First of all, students have to register themselves by visiting the website of SOL.
Creating Edmic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID – This process will run from 5 to 10 June. With this ID, students will continue to join the future credit.
Course suggestion according to merit-The university will be told by the university based on their marks, which programs they are eligible for.
Final admission and documents upload – After this, students will be able to fill the exam form for their favorite courses and upload the necessary documents.
The real admission process will start after June 10
After the completion of the registration, the real admission process will start from June 10. Candidates will be given 3 days time for document verification. In these three days, all students will have to report with their original documents.
Admission in 19 courses, BA and B.Com will be the most popular
This year, admission will be given in a total of 19 undergraduate courses under SOL. These include popular courses like BA, B.Com, and BBA. Students will be given prospectus and course guidelines before admission, so that they can take a better decision.
