New Zealand’s ODI team announced for the series against West Indies, return of this dangerous player

New Zealand has announced its team for the 3-match ODI series against West Indies. New Zealand fast bowler Matt Henry is returning to the team. He could not play the last two ODI matches against England due to calf strain last week.

Blair Tickner, who won the ‘Player of the Match’ award in the second and third ODI against England, has retained his place in the team. Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Tom Latham, Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell have also been given a chance in this team.

Expressing happiness over the return of Matt Henry, New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said, “Matt is an important member of this team. He is the most experienced in our fast bowling attack. It will be very beneficial to have him back in the team for the ODI and Test matches. After the rest, he will be fresh and fit. We know that he will be desperate for a big performance with the white and red ball.”
