The famous meeting of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska discussed many issues of Ukraine War, Mutual relations and cooperation. The joint press conference held after the meeting lasted only 12 minutes, in which the two leaders did not question the journalists, only kept their own talk.
At the end of the press conference, Trump told Putin- “Will meet soon.” In response, Putin said in English- “Next time in Moscow.” Trump smiled on this and said-“Oh, the interesting one.”

Putin said that Alaska is part of the common history of America and Russia. He reminded that the two countries fought together in World War II. Putin admitted that there were difficulties in relationships in the previous years, but said that this meeting was necessary for a long time.
Focus on Ukraine
Putin said that a large part of the conversation was focused on Ukraine. He said that it is necessary to improve the situation and appreciated Trump’s wish that he wanted to understand the real cause of the struggle. Putin hoped that with the consent made, the path of peace in Ukraine would open and its safety would be ensured. He said that Russia wants to end the war with honesty and do not interrupt Europe and Ukraine talks.
Putin’s claim- if there was a trump, there would be no war
Putin said that Russia and America cooperation in the Arctic sector is possible and there is a major possibility of investment between the two countries. He claimed that if Trump had been the President in 2022, this struggle would never have started. Putin also thanked Trump for Trump’s “friendly and reliable” attitude during the conversation.
Trump’s stance and further plan
Trump said in a press conference that he would soon talk to NATO and Ukraine President Volodimir Zelanski. He said that many issues have been agreed in the meeting, although a big issue is still left. According to Trump- “There is no deal until there is a complete deal.” He said that Putin does not want to see more people dying anymore and just some points are yet to be solved.
