National Highways Authority of India i.e. NHAI has started registration for Summer Internship Program 2026. Through this internship, students will not only get the opportunity to study books but will also get an opportunity to work on the highway projects going on on the ground. The most important thing is that the selected students will also be given a stipend of Rs 20,000 every month, and will also get a certificate on completing the internship.

How long will the internship last?
This summer internship will be for a total of two months. During this period, the selected students will be posted in the field offices and headquarters of NHAI. Here he will work with senior officials and the project team.

This internship is not only for civil engineering students. NHAI has opened applications for students of different subjects. Along with civil engineering, students of Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Data Science, Finance, Law, Management, Commerce and Mass Communication can also apply. NHAI plans to connect about 500 students with this internship every year. This program has been designed in collaboration with the Higher Education Department and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
