In the Delhi blast case, Aamir has been sent on 10-day police remand by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court. The court said that Aamir was involved in this conspiracy and his inquiry is necessary. During remand, the agency will collect all the information related to the blast from the accused and will investigate other aspects of the case.
NIA had arrested accused Aamir Rashid Ali in the case of car blast that took place on November 10 in Red Fort area of Delhi. The accused alleges that he had conspired with alleged suicide bomber Omar Un Nabi to carry out the blast. Aamir is a resident of Samboora, Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir and the car in which the IED was blasted was registered in his name.
NIA found important evidence
NIA has caught Aamir by raiding in Delhi. Investigation revealed that Aamir had specifically come to Delhi to buy a car for the blast, which was later converted into a vehicle bomb (VBIED). Forensic investigation also confirmed that the deceased driving the car was Umar Un Nabi. Umar was a resident of Pulwama and was an assistant professor at Al-Falah University, Faridabad, Haryana.
What did Aamir’s family say?
Aamir’s family told that he works as a plumber and his brother Umar is an electrician. The family says that Aamir had never gone to Delhi, only the car was in his name. NIA has also seized another car of Omar and its thorough investigation is going on. So far, the agency has recorded the statements of 73 witnesses and the injured, and is also analyzing technical and digital evidence.
