After the blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, the investigation agencies are now eyeing the Al-Falah Medical College in Faridabad. This college, once famous for its modern facilities, is now surrounded by allegations of links with terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir Police and NIA team raided the college on Wednesday (12 November). Investigation has revealed that four doctors related to the blast – Dr. Umar Un Nabi, Dr. Muzammil, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, and Dr. Nisar-ul-Hassan were associated with this college.
Dr. Nisar is missing after the blast
According to sources, Dr. Nisar-ul-Hassan was fired from the job by the Jammu and Kashmir government in 2022 due to security reasons. After this, he got a job again in Al-Falah Medical College under a fake name. He is missing after the blast. Dr. Bhupinder Kaur, Vice-Chancellor of Al-Falah University, issued a statement saying that the university has no personal connection with these doctors and the college is fully cooperating in the investigation. “No suspicious material has been found on the campus,” he said.
Recruitment process will be investigated
However, the investigating agencies are not confident about the cleanliness of the college. A senior officer said, “Four doctors from the same college joining the terrorist network cannot be a coincidence.” Now investigating agencies are investigating the recruitment process of private universities to find out whether there were any lapses in security checks.
More than 70 faculty and students have been questioned so far
So far, more than 70 faculty and students have been questioned. A student said, “Dr. Umar and Dr. Ganai often remained missing from the college for many days and were not interested in teaching.”
What did the National Medical Commission say?
