Cyber Attack: Amid Indo-Pak tension, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a meeting with the big officials of the bank and the insurance sector and the regulators of the financial sector on Friday. During this time, he instructed banks to strengthen their cyber security system and to audit data centers regularly so that the firewall of all digital and core banking infrastructure is fully ensured. They should be monitored round the clock to prevent any wrong cyber activity and violations.
Pakistan can get cyber attack in furious
Actually, Pakistan can get a cyber attack due to the action of the Indian Army. Keeping this in mind, this meeting was held. The Finance Minister has asked the banking officials to appoint two such senior officers, one of whom will report cyber related cases and the other will monitor the functioning of the bank and the cash flow in the ATM. These officers will have to inform the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in), Reserve Bank of India and Financial Services Department (DFS) about any incident.

Emphasizing the important role of banking and financial sector in ensuring economic stability between Indo-Pak tension, the Finance Minister directed all banks to be fully cautious and ready to deal with any situation or crisis to ensure uninterrupted access to banking and financial service for the citizens and businesses of the country, especially in the border area.

The Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to every attack of Pakistan. In such a situation, Pakistan can be in the process of harming India through cyber attack. CERT-in said that banks, private companies and government websites in India can be targeted by Pakistan, so they have been alerted.
