Nishikant dube on supreme court: Amid the support and opposition of the Waqf law, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has launched a new debate about the judiciary and the legislature. At the same time, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey gave a big statement about the Supreme Court on Saturday (April 19). He said that if the law is made by the apex court, then the Parliament House should be closed.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, “Only the Supreme Court is responsible for inciting religious war in the country. The Supreme Court is now going out of its boundaries. If you have to go to the Supreme Court for everything, then Parliament and Assembly should be closed. Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna is responsible for all the civil war happening in this country.

‘President appointed Chief Justice’
Dubey further said, “How can you give instructions to the Opporting Authority? President appoints the Chief Justice of India. Parliament makes a law of this country. How do you enact a new law? In which law it is written that the President has to decide within three months? It means that you want to take this country towards anarchy. When Parliament is sitting, it will be a detailed discussion.”

Nishikant Dubey’s remarks come at a time when many petitions challenging the constitutionality of the Waqf (Amendment) Act are being heard in the apex court. The Act was passed by the Parliament earlier this month. After the court questioned some controversial provisions of this law, the central government has agreed not to implement them till the next hearing.

Debate erupted from Vice President’s statement
The debate has also started on the recent schedule by the Supreme Court to take a decision on the Bills sent to the President, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has disagreed with this decision of the apex court. On the other hand, the opposition parties have appreciated the proceedings of the Supreme Court in the Waqf (Amendment) Act case along with the above instructions of the apex court.
