Sarfaraz said ‘9’, Virat looked at me after that, I started thinking, ‘Is it going to be true with me.” Even if those shoes were not of my size, I definitely wanted them. I said ’10’, then Virat gave me a century in the next match.

Nitish Reddy also said that after the century innings played on MCG, all the team members congratulated him, but he was waiting for only one person. Nitish said, “When Virat Bhai came to me and said that I played well, that moment was very special for me.”
Talking about the current time, Nitish Reddy had a pain problem, due to which there was doubt on playing in IPL 2025. The good thing is that a clean chit has been received from BCCI’s Center of Excellence to play in IPL 2025. For IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad retained him for Rs 6 crore.
