Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Preparations for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 have intensified. There is a discussion in the political corridors that this time the match can be triangular-NDA, Grand Alliance and Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party. Recently, five big opinion polls have emerged, in which Nitish Kumar and BJP alliance are seeing an edge and some wave of Tejashwi Yadav.
Prashant Kishore’s party is also seen getting some seats for the first time. In such a situation, the question is, who will finally win Nitish Kumar’s experienced politics, Tejashwi Yadav’s youth power or new political style of PK.
JVC Survey: Majority to NDA
The JVC survey shows Nitish Kumar and BJP alliance getting majority. JDU is likely to get 52 to 58 seats, BJP 66 to 77 and other allies are expected to get 13 to 15 seats. Overall, NDA can get 131 to 150 seats. The Grand Alliance is seen getting 81 to 103 seats, RJD 57 to 71, Congress 11 to 14 and others 13 to 18 seats. Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party can get 4 to 6 seats. In the case of CM, Nitish Kumar is seen with 27%, Tejashwi Yadav 25%, Prashant Kishore 15%, Chirag Paswan 11%and Emperor Chaudhary with 8%vote share.
Public Survey: Grand Alliance edge
In the Lokpol survey, the grand alliance has been given an edge over the NDA. In this, NDA is seen getting 105 to 114 seats and the Grand Alliance is getting 118 to 126 seats. The grand alliance is also slightly ahead with 39-42% vote and NDA 38-41% votes in vote share. Others are expected to get 12-16% votes. This survey indicates that if the public gives importance to the anti-incumbency factor, then Nitish Kumar and BJP may find it difficult.
C-Voter Survey: Tejashwi Yadav is the most popular
In the C-Voter survey, the public has described Tejashwi Yadav as the most popular leader. As CM face, Public’s inclination is showing 36%, Nitish Kumar 16%, Chirag Paswan 10% and Emperor Chaudhary 7%. The name of Prashant Kishore is not included in this survey, that is, the public is still not considering him as the first choice.
Spick Media Network Survey: NDA to overwhelming majority
In the survey of Spick Media Network, NDA seems to get 158 seats (46% vote share) and the Grand Alliance is getting 66 seats (41% vote share). Jan Suraj Party is seeing 0 seats (8% vote share). Tejashwi Yadav as CM face is 30.5%, Nitish Kumar 27.4%, Prashant Kishore 13% and Chirag Paswan 12% vote share. PK may not get much benefit in seats, but their popularity is increasing.
Ascendia Survey: Area -wise equation
The Ascendia survey collected data from 18 districts and 9 administrative units of Bihar. NDA 12, Grand Alliance 7 and other 5 seats can be found in Purnia region. NDA 6 and Grand Alliance are seen getting 20 seats in Magadh region. NDA 2, Grand Alliance 19 and other 1 seats can be found in Bhojpur region. NDA 9 and Grand Alliance are seen getting 15 seats in Saran region. In this survey, the Jan Suraj Party has been described as strong in some places.
Mixed result of five poles
If all five opinion polls are seen, it is clear that the competition is tough. JVC and Spick Survey are showing NDA government, while Lokpol and C-Voter are giving an edge to the Grand Alliance. Prashant Kishore’s party has not been able to show more than 5-6 seats in any major survey, but the popularity of PK is increasing rapidly as CM option. Overall, this time the electoral battle in Bihar is going to be very exciting. Nitish Kumar’s experience, Tejashwi Yadav’s youth strength and new politics of PK – the competition of three will maintain the thrill till the final results.
