No entry of fundamentalist Zakir Naik in Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus changed his decision after India’s protest!

Radical Zakir Naik, declared a fugitive from India, will not get entry into Bangladesh. After India’s protest, Mohammad Yunus changed his decision. Recently, the Bangladesh government was busy preparing to welcome Zakir Naik. At the end of this month, a big program was to be organized for Zakir Naik in Dhaka on 28-29 November, reacting to which the Indian Foreign Ministry had said that if Zakir Naik comes to Bangladesh, he will be expected to be extradited. In such a situation, the Bangladesh government has banned Zakir Naik’s entry.

Since the overthrow of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh, the influence of Islamic forces in the country has increased significantly. On the other hand, the interim government of Bangladesh under the leadership of Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus is busy welcoming Islamic fundamentalists into the country. These radicals also include people who had once carried out terrorist attacks on India’s neighboring country. The same Zakir Naik, whom the interim government of Bangladesh was busy preparing to welcome these days, is accused of being involved in the Dhaka Bakery terrorist attack in July 2016.

When was the decision taken to ban Zakir Naik’s entry into Bangladesh?

In fact, the interim government of Bangladesh took a decision regarding this matter in the meeting of the Law and Order Core Committee held in the meeting room of the Home Ministry in the Secretariat on Tuesday (November 4, 2025). Under which Zakir Naik’s visit to Bangladesh has been banned for the time being.
