Demonstration against President Trump’s policies
The protesters raised their voice against the dictatorial thinking and policies of Trump under the banner called ‘No Kings’. He also criticized the domestic policies of the Trump administration. During the protest, there were also clashes between police and protesters in many cities. The protesters said that dictatorship will not work in America. Police used tear gas and flash bombs to remove the crowd. The families and common people present there were seen scared.
His opponents have strongly criticized for the military parade organized by President Donald Trump. He says that this parade was made on the pretext of the anniversary of the US Army, but the real purpose was to brighten the personal image of Trump.
About 350 crores spent on parade
Opponents also say that there is no established tradition of military parade in America and after 34 years such an event is being held, which cannot be considered normal.
Opposition parties and civil organizations have expressed displeasure over about Rs 350 crore (about $ 43 million) spent on this parade. He called it a waste of taxpayers’ money.
Trump is also being accused that he wants to take political advantage of military strength and weakening democratic institutions. His critics say that such a parade is against the democratic traditions of America.
Violence erupted after protest in Los Angeles
Last week, the Immigration Department of America raided against illegal migrants and detained many people. The protest in Los Angeles intensified against it and soon turned into violence.
President Trump ordered the deployment of National Guards
To bring the situation under control, President Donald Trump ordered the deployment of National Guards. This further increased the anger of the people and riots and arson started in the city. However, now there is peace in Los Angeles, but the protest is still going on.
The protest against Trump’s policies was also seen in cities like New York, Denver, Chicago and Austin. People took out a protest march and expressed their displeasure and said that the policies of the government are unjust and harsh.
