‘No MP has a dog… an insult to dogs’, Renuka Chaudhary’s new statement heated up the atmosphere

Congress Rajya Sabha MP Renuka Chaudhary gave a shocking statement on Thursday on the controversy of bringing a dog into Parliament. In an interview with a TV channel, he clearly said, ‘I have not called any MP a dog. This would be an insult to the dogs. Dogs have loyalty, selfless love and affection, which is not found in humans. It is not right to call humans dogs, it will be an insult to the dogs.

Renuka picked up the dog from the road

This statement of Renuka is related to the incident on the first day of the winter session of Parliament (1 December), when Renuka Chaudhary was coming to the Parliament complex. There was a collision between a scooter and a car on the way and a dog was roaming in the middle of the road. To save it from the accident, Renuka took the dog in her MP’s car and took it to Parliament. After handing him over to the staff there, he asked them to send the dog to a safe place.

There was a ruckus in Parliament over the dog

This kindness of Renuka displeased BJP MP Jagdambika Pal. He created an uproar by calling it an abuse of the privileges of Parliament. Jagdambika said, ‘Bringing a dog to Parliament is an insult to democracy. This undermines the dignity of Parliament. Strict action should be taken.

This statement of Jagadambika sparked controversy and BJP accused Renuka of calling MPs ‘dogs’.

Renuka had said that the reapers are sitting in the Parliament.

In the first clarification, Renuka had taunted that the dog had bitten anyone? The real reapers are sitting in the Parliament itself, who bite us every day. If we help a voiceless person, it becomes a big issue. Does the government have no other work?

Fear of breach of privilege notice

Now his new statement has created a flood of memes on social media. Many users are praising Renuka, while some are calling it a political satire. There is a possibility of a notice for breach of privilege being issued to Renuka. Congress says that this is a conspiracy to make the incident bigger. Renuka’s recent statement is indicating further heating of the Parliament session.
