Major action has been taken in the case of engineer’s death in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Builder Abhay Kumar, named in the case, has been arrested. The arrested accused is the owner of MZ Wishtown. Knowledge Park police station has made the arrest. A case was also registered against Lotus Green.
The three-member special investigation team formed to investigate the case of software engineer’s death started its investigation from Tuesday. The SIT team informed about the incident in Noida Sector 6. SIT team ADG Bhanu Bhaskar said that investigation is being done on all aspects. Condolences to the family. A three-member team under the leadership of Meerut Zone Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Bhanu Bhaskar has started investigating the case. ADG Bhanu Bhaskar, Divisional Commissioner of Meerut Bhanu Chandra Goswami and Chief Engineer of Public Works Department (PWD) Ajay Verma first reached the office of Noida Development Authority at around 12 noon and started investigating the matter from here. The members of the investigation committee also met the family members of the deceased.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for the investigation report of this incident within five days. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has constituted a three-member special investigation team regarding this matter. Uttar Pradesh government on Monday removed Noida Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Lokesh M from his post and kept him on waiting list, till now no one has been appointed to the post of Noida Development Authority Chief Executive Officer.
27-year-old software engineer Yuvraj Mehta was killed in the incident that took place on January 16 in Sector-150, Noida. His car had fallen into a water-filled pit near a construction site and there was no barrier at that construction site. This pit was dug for the construction of the underground floor of a mall. Allegations of negligence are being made in this incident.
