Noida International Airport (Jewar) located in Delhi, Noida has received major administrative approval. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu shared information regarding the aerodrome license related to this important project. Actually, the Civil Aviation Regulator of India (DGCA) has issued an aerodrome license to Noida International Airport. With the issuance of this license, the way for the operation of the airport has almost been cleared and now preparations for its formal inauguration have intensified.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu held a meeting with the airport operator and discussed completing the remaining processes related to the project as soon as possible. He instructed the officials to complete the remaining formalities expeditiously, so that air services from this international level project can be started soon.

According to the information, Minister Ram Mohan Naidu while sharing this achievement on social media also said that Noida International Airport located at Jewar is one of the most important aviation projects of the country. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s aviation sector is continuously expanding rapidly and the country can emerge as a global aviation hub in the coming years.
Noida International Airport is being developed as one of the largest airport areas in Asia. The objective of this project is not only to provide better air facilities for passengers, but also to accelerate regional economic development. Integrated MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility will be developed in the airport premises, so that services related to maintenance and repair of aircraft will be available in India only.
Along with this, a modern air cargo terminal is also being established at the airport, which is expected to give a big boost to trade activities between the country and abroad. Experts believe that with the start of this project, the connectivity of not only Western Uttar Pradesh but the entire North India will be strengthened.
Why did it become such an important project?
The Jewar Airport project is also expected to provide direct and indirect employment to thousands of people. Besides, industrial investment, logistics and tourism sectors in Greater Noida and surrounding areas are also expected to get new momentum.
After getting the aerodrome license, preparations have now reached the final stage for the inauguration of the airport and the start of regular flights, due to which there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the people of the area.
