Non-Hindu person threw eggs at Thane’s Garba Festival, people who were angry at the atmosphere, case registered


An attempt was made to spoil the atmosphere amidst the Garba Festival on Navratri festival in Thane district of Maharashtra. A shocking incident came to light in Kashigaon area of ​​Meera Road East on Tuesday (September 30). A person was accused of throwing eggs during a public garba festival at the famous JP North Garden City Society, after which there was tremendous resentment among the citizens.

The incident is said to be held between 10:30 and 11 pm. It is alleged that a person named Mohsin Khan, a resident of Estella Building, first reached the Garba site on the pretext of checking the decibel level and recorded a video from mobile. After this, he had also complained to the police and appealed to stop the program. Later, the charge threw eggs at the festival from the 16th floor, which worsened the atmosphere.

Citizens reached the police station in large numbers

When two women policemen found a broken egg, the anger of the people erupted and a large number of citizens reached Kashigaon police station directly. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police have registered a case against Mohsin Khan.

Investigation starts after FIR

The police have registered a case under Section 300 of the Code of Justice of India (BNS) and started investigation. Also, to control the situation, additional police forces have also been deployed in the society premises and nearby.
