Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s film ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is being directed by veteran director Priyadarshan. Along with this, Priyadarshan is also making Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Havan’. Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in the lead role in this film. Meanwhile, Priyadarshan has unveiled his retirement plan. The director has revealed that he is thinking of retiring with his 100th film.
In a recent interview with Onamnorama, Priyadarshan first talked about ‘Hera Pheri 3’. He said- ‘I usually do not make a sequel to my original films. This is not my style of working. But I will definitely make ‘Hera Pheri 3’, because the makers have been demanding it for a long time.
‘Oppam’ actor’s cameo will be in ‘Havan’
Priyadarshan also gave his opinion about ‘Havan’ which is inspired by his 2016 Malayalam hit film ‘Oppam’. The film will feature Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. At the same time, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher are also part of ‘Havan’. In this film, Akshay Kumar can be seen in Villain Avatar. Also, ‘Havan’ can also have a cameo of ‘Oppam’ lead actor Mohanlal. Regarding Mohanlal, Priyadarshan said- ‘His character will be a surprise for the audience.’
Priyadarshan will retire with 100th film
Priyadarshan has recently completed shooting for Akshay Kumar’s horror film ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Vamika Gabbi. After this, now he is directing ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and ‘Havan’. ‘Havan’ is the 99th film of Priyadarshan’s career and now the director is planning to retire with the 100th film. Priyadarshan said- ‘After completing these films, I am thinking of retiring. I am tired.
The last film will be with South Star, not Bollywood
According to the report, Priyadarshan’s last film will not be with any Bollywood star. Rather, he will do his 100th film with South Superstar Mohanlal. At present, the script of the film has not been decided, but its shooting may begin next year.
