Udit raj backed peter navarro: Peter Navaro, Advisor to US President Donald Trump, is constantly making anti -India rhetoric. Recently, he alleged that Brahmins are earning profits in India by purchasing oil from Russia. His statement is being criticized in the country.
Former Congress MP Udit Raj supported this claim of Navaro. He said that corporate houses in India are operated on a large scale by upper castes and the benefits of buying oil from Russia are limited to them.

Peter Navarro gave a disputed statement
Navaro criticized India’s trade policies and called the country a ‘Maharaja of Tariff’. He said that due to India buying oil from Russia, war is getting funds in Ukraine. He also questioned PM Modi’s recent diplomatic efforts with Russia and China. Navaro said that Brahmins are earning profits at the cost of common Indians and America wants it to be closed. He also said that India’s mixing with the rulingists is not correct according to democracy.
India has taken a tough stand
India took a tough stand on Navaro’s comment and said that energy purchases from Russia are part of the global market operations. This benefits the Indian economy. India also made it clear that this income does not go directly to the war fund of Russia. Despite the US pressure and additional tariffs, India is now insisting on further strengthening its relations with Russia and China in the changing global scenario.
